Anchor Swinging on Memorial Day.
The kids and I spent the saturday night of Memorial Day weekend out on the boat. Lots of yahoos out, and the anchorages were very crowded. Would have been easier to go back to the dock, but the kids wouldn't let me get away with that. So, in addition to setting the anchor alarm, I also left the GPS maximally zoomed with tracking on. Every now and then I would wake up and glance at the screen. As long as the track stayed in a rough arc (see above), I knew the anchor was holding and we didn't have to worry about dragging down onto anyone else. And luckily, none of the powerboats with garden hoes for anchors dragged down onto us.
